Stephen Skuris had been buying and selling architecturally important real estate on his own since the mid 1980s, and became a licensed agent in the 1990s. In 2005, however, he left his career as a corporate lawyer to pursue his interest in real estate full time.

With a genuine affinity for meeting and working with people, Stephen also brings intense professional and personal knowledge to Architectural Properties. In addition to a legal background that helps him advise clients in every step of their negotiations, Stephen is familiar firsthand with renovating mid-century homes. He remodeled a number of properties when he lived in Los Angeles, including a project in which he took his own home down to the studs.

Stephen loves the mountains, desertscape, and quality of life in Palm Springs, finding it an easy and peaceful place to both live and work. He manages to escape from time to time though, especially to Italy where he has a small vacation home. Having traveled extensively through Asia, Europe, South America, and Mexico, his travel wish list for the future includes Africa.
